Happy Holidays!

To all my Canadian – and non Canadian friends out there – I wish you a Happy Canada Day!

This year we spent most of the day outside at a BBQ with good friends, lots of daiquiri’s, and some really odd weather. One minute sun, the next rain. Then sun. Then rain. But it’s all good. Tonight I think we’re going to be checking out the fireworks over the lake — sure to be a good show!

Holidays, for the most part, rarely make me soppy…but there’s something to be said for your country’s national holiday. Food. Booze. Tunes. Family. Friends. Crazy weather. Welcome to the Great White North!

Writing Update

On the True Deceit front, I’m about halfway through the first draft of my work in progress. I’m hoping to have it completed by the end of July.

Second Chances just appeared on All Romance EBooks this week. It’s a huge eBook site with a great following so I’m very excited to see it listed! The book has already been listed as a best seller yet. No reviews to date on that site but I’m positive the readers are going to like it as much as you guys did! I still have my fingers crossed for a print version when the next round comes through Red Rose Publishing. I’ll keep you posted!

On the SGA FanFiction side – I completed Nine Months – much to my pleasure, and dismay. It was an awesome story and I’m sad to see it end. I really had a great time writing it. BUT fear not — I’ll be back with more. Probably some one shots to start with. But knowing GLENN (the evil plot bunnies who prefer to be called the Giant Lop Ears of North Nagook), GLENN will smack me with another epic sooner rather than later.
